Meet your Mentors

  • Emma Saunders

Emma began her yoga journey humbly at The Hose of Yoga by volunteering, soon after the South West London studio doors opened, over 10 years ago. She quickly became an integral part of the studio as Leader of Success growing and running a strong team and brining yoga and transformation to hundreds of people.

After the arrival of her eldest child she listened to the calling of the Welsh valleys and returned home to focus on growing her own family and founded Simply Self Care, providing yoga and wellness in Abergavenny, South Wales.

Yoga training programmes continue to be a driving passion. As a lead mentor for THE WAY she coaches her students to find their fullest expression and step into their personal power.

  • Dav Jones

Dav is a senior 500 E-RYT teacher. Over the past 10 years of teaching yoga Dav has accumulated 10,000 teaching hours and has taught in 15 countries worldwide. His teachings are from the traditions of Hatha, Ashtanga and Iyengar Yoga. Davin combines these styles to create classes which can be challenging on occasion, with the awareness to adapt the practice to different levels of practitioners.

With a deep love of functional anatomy, Davin guides classes with clear instruction on how to adapt postures to the individual allowing the practitioner to create a fundamental understanding of their own physical body through yoga asana. His classes are known to be vinyasa based with dynamic flows through the postures and longer holds to create depth and deeper understanding of one’s own individual yoga experience.

Having led workshops, retreats and teacher training courses worldwide, Davin continues to share his love and teaching of yoga to guide practitioners of all levels. His hope is to see practitioners receive the same benefits from yoga that he has received, with the help to provide insight into the more deeper philosophical teachings and practice of the yogic lifestyle.
